With the integration of LayerZero, the $LIF3 and $LSHARE tokens originally created with the protocol are now considered “Legacy” tokens. The same is true for the original contracts that utilized these Legacy tokens. To use the new tokens with the new contracts, you will need to convert your Legacy tokens to the new ones. Follow the directions below to get started.

How to Convert Legacy to New?
The process below describes converting Legacy tokens on Fantom, Polygon, and BNB Chain to New tokens of the same chain. In every instance, you will need to connect your wallet before starting.
- Set Lif3.com to the chain that holds your Legacy tokens. (You may need to do this process multiple times if you hold Legacy tokens on multiple chains).
2. Select the Legacy token from the available tokens on the top of the dialog box.
3. Enter the number of Legacy tokens in the top box marked “Token” (Old).
4. The “Token” (New) box will auto-populate with the corresponding 1:1 ratio.
5. Click the “Approve” button located at the bottom of the Token Swap page. (You will need to confirm this transaction on MetaMask).
6. Once approved, click “Swap”. (You will need to confirm this transaction on MetaMask).

Protocol Impacts and Important Information:
All areas of the current Lif3 protocol that utilize Legacy tokens will eventually be sunset and new contracts utilizing the new tokens will be put in place. This includes LP’s in the Garden, Staking on Lif3 Trade, the Fountain, the Terrace, and the Greenhouse. All of the Lif3 protocol will be revamped with new contracts and upgraded to LayerZero OFT tokens.
