This Week marks two years of Harry operating Tomb and over a year of operating Lif3. The future is very bright, even if it is hard for some to see the light sometimes. We have a lot of plans in place for the future, and we continue to build, refine, and innovate all the time. Summer is over, and it’s time to double down on our efforts to build the most successful protocols in DeFi. Thank you for your company during this ride. This community remains the single most important element in everything that we do.
Please understand the repetition of some of the items below. In terms of development, there are many times the process is stalled as the team relies on third parties to handle objectives on their end, and they often work off a queue without an option to “skip to the front of the line.” We are doing all we can from our side, and we are very much looking forward to implementing some of the new things we have in store for the community.
Lif3.com Updates:
For individuals who want to keep up with market activity and prefer things to be well-organized and simple to understand, the token list function will be a great improvement. All details will be updated once the new token list feature is posted to the main website, which is still under development. The goal of Lif3 has always been to make things simple and straightforward to use, so adding capabilities like the token list to Lif3.com is merely another step in that direction.
Lif3 Wallet Updates:
In the future, Lif3 Wallet will see derived wallets. The development process is going smoothly, and we hope to see this feature implemented as soon as it’s ready. For people who value convenience and organization, derived wallets will be an additional feature for you to sink your teeth into. Many children wallets, each with a different use case and goal, can be unlocked using a single parent seed. Derived wallets will prove to help organize everything a user does in DeFi.
The Path Forward:
The Lif3 protocol’s new tokens powered by LayerZero are still undergoing testing. After successful integration, the new Token Swapper will go live, enabling the conversion of Legacy tokens to the new LayerZero-powered tokens. After the Token Swapper will come the updated contracts for Lif3.com and the various elements of the main site. We really appreciate your patience as we work to complete this process because a portion of it is out of the teams’ control. The Curve pool for L3USD on Polygon, which is currently created and expanding, is a step along the way for the entire path forward.
Lif3 Chain Coming Soon:
Due to LayerZero’s integration before launch, Lif3 Chain required several changes. This necessitated testing, new contracts, and new code. Although, thus far, every test has gone quite well, there is still more testing to be done. Also, we are continuing a few last testnet runs for validator and read-only nodes.
